What does waterborne mean?
A waterborne finish means that its base is made with water rather than harmful solvents, oils or waxes. It cures through the evaporation of water as opposed to the other harsh chemicals. There is a common misconception that it is not as durable as oil, lacquer, or waxes, but this is simply untrue. CrystaLac has made waterborne products only for over 50 years!! We pride ourselves in using only the highest quality resins and ingredients in our products. Paired with our one-of-a-kind unique custom formulations created by our founder Derek Becker and continued by his daughter Dorinda we have continued to offer the highest quality sealers, grain filler, stains, topcoats and finishes.
