Brite Tone Instructions for Tumblers - Please visit the Project Category for Tumblers. Click Here: Tumbler Coatings
Brite Tone Top Coat builds fast with less coats due to its high resin content. It is Environmentally Safe and will outperform any other finish in its class! Use anywhere an extra level of protection is needed. Added UV stabilizers will keep dyes and stains brilliant and will help protect colors from fading. Dries crystal clear even over dark exotic wood.
Brite Tone is Super Hard, Super Clear and Super Easy to Use. It is Scratch, Chemical, and Water Resistant. It is Self- Leveling, Non-Yellowing, Low Odor and Low V.O.C.
CrystaLac Top Coats can be applied by either brushing or spraying (gravity feed or HVLP sprayer) see website for detailed spraying instructions. Use a good quality brush.
Prior to Top Coating, we recommend using CrystaLac Amber Toned Sanding Sealer to enrich the warm natural colors in the wood and minimize grain raising.
It is not necessary to sand between each Top Coat. All CrystaLac Top Coats will bond to the prior coat. CrystaLac Top Coats can be used over thoroughly dried oil or water-based stains, shellac, lacquer, Polyurethane or Acrylic. If recoating over an old finish, scuff sand first and remove any surface contaminants such as dirt, waxes or polishes.
Warranty: Test to your satisfaction on scrap material before using. The manufacturer, The CrystaLac Company, will only replace defective product. Under no circumstances will the manufacturer or distributors be responsible for the cost of application labor, refinishing expenses, or any costs more than the purchase price of the container.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children! Do not ingest. When spraying or sanding, do not breath vapors, use with adequate ventilation and use an OSHA approved mask. V.O.C. is less than 1.2 Lbs. per gallon.
Disposal: Consult your local sanitation department. Do not dump on the ground.
